Erik founded Testify in 2010 and is the company’s Chief Executive Officer. Before that, he was a Professor at Simula Research Laboratory and holds a PhD in Software Engineering. In recent years, he has worked as an advisor and project manager, introducing new technologies for effective test automation in large-scale projects.
Amir is a Principal Consultant with a PhD in Software Engineering from Simula Research Laboratory. His areas of expertise include model-based development, as well as the analysis, visualization, and verification of non-functional requirements in complex, distributed systems.
Possessing a rare combination of deep academic insight and years of hands-on experience, Amir frequently steps into key roles within automated testing and test data generation.
He has developed tailored tools for automated end-to-end value chain testing of functionality, performance, and robustness, involving complex integrations with numerous external agencies and systems. Amir also has extensive experience in developing and managing solutions for generating rich, synthetic test data.
Erik is the Chief Technical Officer at Testify and holds a PhD from Simula Research Laboratory in automated system and regression testing of database applications. He has a background as a software developer in large-scale development projects and is an expert in black-box system testing, regression testing, and test data generation and anonymization.
Magnus is the Deputy CEO at Testify. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and has experience as a test manager, test architect, project manager, and test developer across both technical/integrated and administrative systems. Magnus has introduced and implemented innovative solutions for automated functional and non-functional testing in numerous complex and mission-critical projects.
Patryk plays a central role in the development of Testify’s testing tools.
He holds a PhD from the University of Göttingen, Germany, specializing in model-based testing of integrated real-time systems. Patryk is an experienced developer with strong expertise in software testing, and has participated in numerous projects across industries such as automotive, communications, and digital TV.
He is passionate about writing clear, testable, and maintainable high-quality code, often applying object-oriented design patterns to achieve this.
Farnaz holds a Master of Engineering and an MBA from the University of Toronto. Before joining Testify, she worked for 15 years at Oracle Norway as a test manager, project manager, development manager, and department head, leading large international development projects.
Morten holds a Master’s degree in Physics from NMBU, with additional studies in IT. He is a senior technical project manager and test manager with broad and versatile experience from many aspects of large-scale IT projects. Throughout his career, he has held roles such as system developer, test developer, technical tester, technical project manager, and test manager — on both the client and supplier sides, across public and private sectors in Norway and internationally.
Morten is an expert in technical testing of large, complex, and mission-critical systems, as well as the underlying infrastructure, delivery, and operations platforms where requirements for robustness, performance, reliability, security, and readiness are high.
With his strong technical background and deep understanding of both traditional and modern application architectures and operational platforms, Morten is a valuable partner for project stakeholders, including developers, project managers, and external vendors.
Dag is an experienced and versatile IT specialist with a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Oslo.
With extensive experience in software development and testing, he has an impressive portfolio of projects across multiple industries, including the public sector, telecommunications, and finance. He has strong expertise in automation and optimization, working on everything from the development of testing tools and frameworks to performance testing and integration of complex systems. He also has experience in technical project management, making him a valuable asset in both development and maintenance projects.
Dag stands out as a quality-conscious and thorough professional who combines technical expertise with the ability to manage complex projects under pressure. He is known for consistently delivering high-quality results, no matter the challenge.
Chao holds a PhD in testing, with a focus on using machine learning/AI for automated test data generation.
She is a highly skilled test lead and technical tester with a background as a developer and many years of experience in the testing field. In addition, she has strong expertise in test management, supported by ISTQB certification. Chao has extensive experience with automated integration testing, system testing, and test data generation for complex systems. Together, this gives her significant technical depth, which is invaluable in demanding projects that require smart testing solutions and well-considered prioritization to ensure sufficient quality within project timelines.
Konstantinos is a Principal Consultant with a PhD in AI/Computer Engineering from NTNU and over 20 years of IT experience across the public and private sectors. His core focus lies in robustness testing, security, and ensuring business continuity in complex and mission-critical IT environments. He has extensive experience with verification in accordance with rigid international security standards.
As a Technical Test Manager, he has held overall responsibility for quality assurance in several major infrastructure projects. He specializes in robustness and performance testing under extreme loads, and has comprehensive experience designing and leading disaster recovery test scenarios to ensure uninterrupted operations during critical system failures.
Fredrik is a technically skilled and dedicated Test Manager and Technical Tester with solid experience from complex and safety-critical projects. With an engineering background and many years within the defense and maritime sectors, he has developed high precision and a systematic approach to testing simulators, hardware, and complex control systems.
In recent years, Fredrik has focused on test automation, agile methodologies (BDD/Gherkin), and CI/CD pipelines. As test manager, he gladly steps into the role of Team Lead, and he is equally comfortable with strategic process improvement (TMMi) as he is with hands-on verification of both functional and non-functional requirements such as performance, robustness, and security.
Lorraine holds a Master’s degree in signal processing and has over 17 years of experience in development and testing within telecommunications, energy, and aviation. She is a versatile technologist with an extensive ISTQB certification, and today she combines her role as a full-stack and DevOps developer with solid experience in test management, data engineering, and agile methodologies.
As a Technical Test Manager, Lorraine has been responsible for end-to-end and performance testing of large, mission-critical business solutions on both cloud-based and traditional infrastructure. She is a proactive initiator who excels at structuring test work within development teams, developing automated testing solutions, and uniting cross-functional teams to ensure optimal stability and release readiness under high loads.
Krzysztof holds a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence/Biometrics and a PhD in Electronics from Wrocław University of Technology, where he also served as an assistant professor before joining Testify. He has developed advanced algorithms across various fields and is a highly skilled Java developer. He is currently working on the development of testing tools at Testify.
Basel holds two Master’s degrees in computer science and computational engineering from Germany and Syria, respectively, and has over 15 years of experience in technical testing, test development, DevOps, and test management. Following an extensive career driving complex projects within the oil, gas, and telecommunications sectors, he has spent recent years applying his broad experience to major modernization initiatives in the Norwegian public sector.
As a Test Manager and Technical Test Lead, Basel has comprehensive experience with cloud platforms, test environment configuration, and automation. He possesses solid hands-on expertise with various programming languages and automation tools, and excels at establishing testing solutions for functional verification as well as performance and robustness testing of large-scale data platforms.
Basel is a collaborative team player with an outgoing and solution-oriented approach.
Kjell holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from NTNU and has 20 years of experience in software development and testing. He has worked at many well-known Norwegian companies, several with a strong international presence, in roles including developer, test developer, test advisor, test architect, and quality manager.
In addition to his development background and solid technical expertise, Kjell is a responsible and approachable professional who enjoys teaching and knowledge sharing. He excels at collaborating across disciplines to develop test strategies and technical solutions tailored to the specific needs of each system and organization.
Anette has extensive and versatile experience from software development projects in various roles, such as test manager, tester, project manager, change manager, documentation specialist, product owner and developer. She is particularly experienced with the domain of data warehousing.
In recent years, Anette has primarily worked on large-scale projects within the public sector, including several years as the overall test manager for large and complex IT programs at the Norwegian Tax Administration.
Anette is particularly concerned with having good and defined processes for development and testing.
May is an experienced tester with over 15 years in roles such as technical tester, functional tester, test manager, Scrum Master, and team lead.
She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Business Information Technology from Kingston University in the UK and has gained broad experience in testing within agile development projects. She has worked on complex IT solutions in the housing sector, public healthcare, and the energy industry in Norway, as well as HR solutions in the UK.
May is passionate about software quality at every stage and thrives when working closely with development teams to ensure technology and software perform as expected.
Magnus holds a Master’s degree in Electronics from NTNU. He has extensive experience working with large and complex value chains and has implemented multiple automated testing processes in both the public and private sectors.
In addition to strong technical expertise, Magnus is an engaged and open-minded professional who thrives in interdisciplinary teams in dynamic environments.
He excels at building relationships and is quickly recognized as a valuable partner by his clients, while also sharing his knowledge and experience effectively.
Stian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Information Technology from OsloMet, specializing in programming.
By combining strong development skills with solid expertise in software quality and automation, he builds solutions that are both innovative and reliable. He has solid hands-on experience with testing and automating infrastructure, where his work has been instrumental in supporting disaster recovery testing.
Stian has a deep interest in technology and how it can be applied across various industries. As a person, he is outgoing, eager to learn, and thrives in cross-functional teams where he can contribute to high-impact projects.
In his spare time, he recharges through strength training and is passionate about physical health.
Syver is a trainee at Testify and studies Computer Science at the University of Oslo, specializing in programming and system architecture.
He is outgoing, curious, and quick to learn.
Syver is also ambitious and passionate about paddling. Outside of his studies, he competes as an elite athlete with the goal of becoming the U23 World Champion in marathon paddling by 2026!
Magnus is a trainee at Testify and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Computer Science with a specialization in programming and system architecture at the University of Oslo.
He is particularly interested in information security and the importance of building secure systems from the ground up. In his free time, he explores this further through side projects using the Rust programming language, known for its focus on safe and secure code.
Colleagues and clients find Magnus to be a curious and eager learner who enjoys working in teams to find the best solutions. He thrives on challenges and is motivated by diving into new concepts.
Amalie is a trainee at Testify, combining a bachelor’s degree in Programming and System Architecture from the University of Oslo (UiO) with an ongoing master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management.
Through her studies and more than ten voluntary leadership roles, Amalie has built solid experience in leading teams and driving innovative projects from idea to realization.
She is an outgoing, creative, and engaging team player with infectious energy. When she is not at work, her activity level remains high—whether on the volleyball court, as a radio host at RadioNova, or with a creative project like knitting or watercolor painting in her hands.
Madelene holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Management with a specialization in Supply Chain Management from Institut Supérieur de Gestion in Paris. She is particularly drawn to the analytical and strategic aspects of the field.
With several years of experience in sales and customer service, Madelene is well-versed in taking on key responsibilities, such as stock management, omni-channel operations and visual merchandising.
As a person, Madelene is observant, ambitious, and a creative “jack-of-all-trades” who loves exploring new subjects.
